Code for Sustainable Homes
By 2016 the Government wants all new homes to be carbon neutral and built to achieve level 6 of the Code for Sustainable Homes.

For a home to be truly ‘sustainable’ the requirements of the code, under Category 8 Management, need to be continued long after construction as information needs to be kept current. As part of the developers ‘team’ we see our involvement as essential to actually achieve long-term sustainability.

Apart from the general ‘green information’ held here on our corporate site, each of our developments has a dedicated “site zone” where specific information, relevant to the particular site, is gathered and held about each of the following:
- Re-cycling
- Waste
- Public transport
- Farmers markets
- Local amenities i.e. food shops, post boxes, schools, medical centres, play areas etc
- Cycle paths/routes
This information will be kept current and “fresh” and residents will be encouraged to make use of it.
