Foundry Court Update
8th - June 2010 - 5:30pm
Further to the last website update earlier today; the Pump Company have confirmed that the new pumps have been installed and normal water supplies have been restored to all flats (The Engineers met a number of Residents who confirmed water restored in their flats).
There are still some ancilliary works to be carried out and details are awaited from Clearwater Pumps.
The stand pipe which was installed by Thames Water yesterday has been left in situ for the time being but is expected to be removed by the end of the week.
8th - June 2010 - 1pm
Further to the last update; Pump Engineers are currently on site with new booster pumps and associated equipment and are stripping out the water damaged equipment and installing the new equipment with a view to restoring the normal water supplies to the flats in Block A as rapidly as possible which hopefully may be later today.
However a restoration time cannot be guarantee at the time of this update. In the meantime the stand pipe adjacent to Block D (Flats 62 - 91) remains on site pending completion of the works and restoration of the normal water supplies.
Further updates will be placed on the Website as soon as further news is received from the Pump Engineers

7th - June 2010 - 4.30pm
Further to our earlier update this morning; A represntative from Hazelvine met a Technician from Thames Water at 1pm today when a stand pipe was installed and tested.
The stand pipe is installed in the roadway adjacent to Block D and provides a water supply pending the works to the pumps which should take place tomorrow providing the new pumps etc are received by the contractor as expected.
Road Cones have been placed around car parking space 02 which should remain unobstructed by vehicles pending completion of the pump works as the access hatches to the pump station are in this car parking space.
Once again Hazelvine apologise for the inconvenience caused and assure Residents that all possible steps are being taken to restore normal water supplies as quickly as possible.
7th - June 2010 - 12pm
Further to our previous update on Friday; Thames Water failed to provide and install a water stand pipe as previously instructed by Hazelvine and agreed by Thames Water.
Thames Water have been contacted again this morning and could provide no good reason why the installation did not take place. They have, therefore, been re-instructed by telephone and email to install the down pipe as an immediate priority (TODAY) and to confirm exactly when this will be achieved.
The latest information we have from the Pump Company is that new pumps and associated equipment should be with them tomorrow upon receipt of which they will proceed with the repair/replacement works.
The Hazelvine Website will be kept updated as soon as developments are known.
4th - June 2010 - 5:00pm
Further to our earlier reports; the water booster pumps and other equipment are inoperable and will require repairs or replacements.
It is anticipated that these works will take place early next week. In the meantime we have arranged for Thames Water to provide and install a temporary standpipe as soon as possible this evening which will remain in place pending completion of repairs and the restoration of water.
The location of the standpipe is likely to be at the rear of the development beyond Block D.
We apologise for the inconvenience caused which was due to unforeseen circumstances beyond our control.
This website will be further updated from Monday as and when further developments are known.

4th - June 2010 - 12:30pm
Following the loss of water reported late yesterday afternoon, Pims Pumps have since reported that a split discovered in the incoming water pipe has rendered the pumps and electrics inoperable and which will need to be replaced.
In the meantime Hazelvine are investigating the possibility of having temporary by-pass works carried out as a matter of urgency to restore the water supply to the flats restored direct from the Thames Water Mains albeit at a reduced pressure.
We will keep you advised of all developments

3th - June 2010
A report has been received from a resident in Block A - Water failure has occurred and more than one resident has confirmed. Thames water has been contacted and they have confirmed that there are no mains pressure problems in the area.
We have therefore instructed PIMS pumps to attend and check the boaster pumps as a matter of urgency.
