Hazelvine Continues Wasps Involvement

"Jacobs is a player who we feel will both benefit from and add to the Wasps environment. We have been impressed with the footage we have seen of him."
The former Saracens outside centre Ben Jacobs joins the Club for the start of the 2009/10 season. Jacobs has also played for the Super 14 finalists NSW Waratahs. 2007 was the year that he won the Waratahs' Best Back Award, after starting in nine out of thirteen matches that season.
Jacobs played 35 games at Super Rugby level between 2004 and 2008, before which he also represented Central Coast Rays and Club side Warringah, where he faced a tough run of injuries. The holder of an Australia A Cap, Jacobs qualifies for an English Passport through his English wife, and is anxious to get the season under way and help get Wasps back to winning ways.
London Wasps have an enviable record of success in The Premiership and european competition, having won 10 titles in 10 years. They are a very friendly club and do a lot of great work in the local community around where we have our head office!
Despite their name, they are based in High Wycombe and all their 'A' league games are played in Henley on Thames.
